Pru grew up on a farm between Nhill and Kaniva and has built her career across the grains industry, working in extension, engagement, and strategy. She has a strong interest in how farmers make decisions, and in understanding the ways information, values, and practical on-farm constraints influence those decisions. Through her experience working alongside growers, researchers, and industry partners, Pru brings a well-rounded and grounded perspective on the agricultural sector.
She brings a systems-thinking mindset paired with a strong focus on people and relationships, along with extensive experience in extension, strategy, and stakeholder engagement from a regional perspective. She also offers practical insight into adoption, usability, and the factors that drive meaningful change on farm.
Pru believes agriculture and regional communities are deeply interconnected—one cannot thrive without the other. She is driven by opportunities that enable farmers to retain more value while also strengthening the communities they live and work in.
