Andrew is an experienced agribusiness and commercial banking leader with more than 35 years working across regional Australia. Growing up in East Gippsland and studying agriculture at Dookie Agricultural College laid the foundation for a lifelong connection to farming and rural communities.
Andrew’s career spans agricultural finance, business banking, strategy, and organisational leadership. He has worked closely with farmers and regional businesses across Australia, building a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern farm enterprises and the communities that support them. His experience allows him to translate corporate and financial expertise into practical, farmer-focused insights.
Andrew brings to FTA strong capabilities in business strategy, operational leadership, and delivering commercial initiatives to market. He also has extensive knowledge of agribusiness finance and regional business environments, helping bridge the gap between capital, markets, and farm businesses.
Andrew is strongly aligned with FTA’s farmer-owned, farmer-led model and its commitment to fairness, transparency, and opportunity. He believes FTA provides a unique platform to support growers through more innovative and collaborative approaches, while helping ensure farmers capture more of the value created through their production.
